（印太之光消息）近日，南方丝绸之路及全球南方国际合作委员会主席陈恩田，以筹备委员会主任身份宣布启动南方合作银行组建计划，已获得部分全球南方国家支持，并强调“全球南方需要一家属于自己的南方合作银行”。
The Light of Indo-pacific News, Chen Entian, Chairman of the Southern Silk Road and Global South International Cooperation Committee（SSCO）, announced the launch of the Southern Cooperative Bank initiative in his capacity as head of the preparatory committee. The move has garnered support from several Global South nations, with Chen emphasizing that "the Global South needs its own financial institution."
陈恩田在推进南方丝绸之路及全球南方经济合作框架下，将“南方合作银行”定位为服务“全球南方”国家的核心金融平台。他透露，该银行将依托南合组织在全球南方设立的秘书处及南合基金总部，重点支持中亚、南亚、东南亚及全球南方国家的基础设施与贸易项目。
Positioned as a core financial platform for Global South countries, the bank will operate under the Southern Silk Road and Global South economic cooperation framework. Chen revealed it will leverage the secretariats established by the SSCO across the Global South and the headquarters of the SSCO Fund. Priority will be given to funding infrastructure and trade projects in Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and other Global South regions.
南合组织目前规划的项目库已涵盖多个跨国工程，比如南方丝绸之路高速铁路、中缅空路低空无人机物流运输、仰光上海城地产项目等。陈恩田表示，南方合作银行将为这类大型项目提供专项融资，同时推动成员国间本币结算，减少对传统国际货币体系的依赖。
The SSCO's current project portfolio includes multinational initiatives such as the Southern Silk Road High-Speed Railway, China-Myanmar low-altitude drone logistics corridors, and the Yangon-Shanghai City real estate development. Chen stated the bank will provide tailored financing for such large-scale projects while promoting local currency settlements among member states to reduce reliance on traditional international monetary systems.
