世界和平丝带组织首席亲善大使陈恩田对此次活动表示祝贺，他表示：作为世界和平山，峨眉山要树立自身“和平”形象，从人与人的“和平相处”做起，从社区的“和平”做起，从而延伸到国家和平、世界和平。全国人大代表、珠海格力电器股份有限公司董事长、总裁董明珠说，“这次来四川视察调研，感触很深，法院工作亮点很多。令人印象深刻的是法院普法工作十分扎实，法官既能办案也能做法治宣传，将法律知识带进小区、社区、旅游区，让法治走到群众中去。”董明珠建议，法院要大力推广巡回审判等方式来开展法治宣传教育，进一步提高人民群众的法治意识和法治素养，为法治中国建设贡献更多力量。全国人大代表、中海石油（中国）有限公司海南分公司陵水一崖城作业公司资深工程师雷亚飞说：“令我印象最深的是，峨眉山旅游环保法庭的执法既有力度也有温度。法官并非机械办案，而是在量刑时对被告的恶意性进行了判断，并综合考虑了其家庭条件，这让裁判增添了温度。”

去年，世界和平丝带组织首席亲善大使、第一届至第八届委员会主席、被国际社会尊称为“可可亲王”的陈恩田先生到访峨眉山，提出“让和平的佛光照亮世界”，将峨眉山定为“世界和平山”。当日下午，世界和平丝带组织纽约秘书处举行视频会议，审议《关于授予世界佛教名山——峨眉山为“世界和平山”的提议》，会议对峨眉山的宗教理念，南明兵部尚书吴文华在峨眉山北麓止戈题写的“和平”摩崖石刻遗迹、正在建设的“博爱止戈世界和平园”等诸多内容深入研究，结合峨眉山近年来的祈求世界和平活动，会议一致表决同意将峨眉山定为世界和平山，将普贤菩萨定为世界和平佛。
