More than 130 representatives from 110 media outlets of 75 countries involved in the BRI took part in the forum. Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, and other leaders attended the forum and delivered speeches. The forum summarized the experience of the "Belt and Road" in media cooperation over the past decade, launched a comprehensive discussion on how to creatively develop media cooperation and international communication in the "Belt and Road" and the current new international situation, and awarded the "Belt and Road" Media Contribution Award to international media friends who have made outstanding contributions to the "Belt and Road" international communication.
陈恩田表示：“一带一路”国际合作倡议提出十年来，不管是“一带一路”国际日的宣传，还是推进“一带一路”国际民间合作，华文媒体以及国际媒体友人都作出了突出的贡献。时至今天，“一带一路”国际日能够植根于世界人民心中，成为众所周知的世界公共知识，国际媒体友人功不可没，世界和平丝带组织谨向他们致谢致敬。
