纽约当地时间2026年1月12日，第十二届“一带一路”国际日暨天蚕节全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年活动已在全球开展27天，捷报频传，硕果累累。“一带一路”迎新年首席亲善大使、活动组委会主席陈恩田通过视频方式会见了纽约工作站的六十多位青年学生志愿者，强调将“五节共庆”活动传递千秋万代。

New York Local Time, January 12, 2026 – The 12th Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day and the Global Chinatown "Belt and Road" New Year Celebration have been carried out globally for 27 days, with frequent good news and fruitful achievements. Chen Entian, Chief Goodwill Ambassador of the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebration and Chairman of the Event Organizing Committee, met with more than 60 young student volunteers at the New York Workstation via video link, emphasizing the need to pass on the "joint celebration of five festivals" activity to future generations.

陈恩田在会见中表示，希望纽约工作站的青年学生志愿者们能够积极传承古蚕桑文明与古代丝绸之路的精神，致力于推动东西方文化包容互鉴，为促进世界经济贸易的繁荣发展贡献力量。他特别强调，在开展由天蚕节（“一带一路”国际日）、圣诞节、元旦节、春节和元宵节共同构成的“一带一路”迎新年“五节共庆”系列活动时，我们必须严格遵守所在国家的法律法规，确保活动和谐顺利进行。

During the meeting, Chen Entian stated that he hopes the young student volunteers at the New York Workstation will actively inherit the spirit of ancient sericulture civilization and the ancient Silk Road, commit themselves to promoting the inclusive mutual learning of Eastern and Western cultures, and contribute to the prosperity and development of world economy and trade. He particularly emphasized that when carrying out the series of "Belt and Road" New Year Celebration activities featuring the "joint celebration of five festivals" – consisting of Silkworm God's Day (Belt and Road International Day), Christmas, New Year's Day, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival – we must strictly abide by the laws and regulations of the host country to ensure the activities proceed harmoniously and smoothly.

陈恩田进一步指出，期待“一带一路”迎新年“五节共庆”民间活动不受政治影响，长期举办下去，使其成为连接东西方、延续千秋的民间文化盛事，为增进各国人民之间的友谊与文化交融发挥积极作用。此次视频会见体现了组委会对全球青年学生志愿者工作的高度重视，也为后续活动的有序开展明确了方向。

Chen Entian further pointed out that he expects the "joint celebration of five festivals" civilian activity of the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebration to be held for a long time free from political influences, making it a lasting civilian cultural event connecting the East and the West for thousands of years, and playing a positive role in enhancing friendship and cultural integration among people of all countries. This video meeting reflects the organizing committee's high attention to the work of young student volunteers around the world and clarifies the direction for the orderly development of subsequent activities.
