12月9日，距离第十一届“一带一路”国际日（2024年12月16日）还有7天，南合组织四川绵绵文化发展有限公司消息，“一带一路”国际日滇池和平鸥摄影大赛将在春城昆明举行，世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路及全球南方国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席陈恩田致信祝贺。陈恩田表示：去年庆祝第十届“一带一路”国际日，世界和平丝带组织将昆明滇池的红嘴鸥定名为“和平鸥”，希望和平鸥为共建“一带一路”及促进世界和平作出贡献，今年刚好一周年，举办滇池和平鸥摄影大赛非常有意义。

众所周知，“一带一路”国际日（12月16日）的发祥地是中国昆明及云南大学，每年的“一带一路”国际日前后，昆明滇池云集了来自北西伯利亚地区、俄罗斯贝加尔湖、蒙古乌布苏湖、吉尔吉斯湖等“一带一路”沿线国家的红嘴鸥，成为春城昆明的一大奇观。2013年12月16日，星云大师莅临昆明云南大学庆来堂举行大法开示《看见梦想的力量》，受星云大师德慧启迪，经国际七三学社前主席陈恩田、联合国原副秘书长冀朝铸等学者提议，世界和平丝带组织决定将这一天确定为全球民间响应支持、宣传纪念“一带一路”倡议的国际民间节日——“一带一路”国际日，并将12月15日晚18：00至12月16日凌晨06：00定为和平夜。十年来，每逢12月16日，昆明滇池风清气爽，空中鸥语阵阵，鸥歌连连，鸥舞翩跹，宛若自然天成的“一带一路”国际日庆祝大会。

陈恩田还说：和平鸥分布在“一带一路”沿线等全球一百多个国家，每年的12月16日前一个月左右，和平鸥作为可爱的国际小嘉宾不远千里飞抵春城昆明，举办属于它们自己的“一带一路”国际日和平鸥大会，以它们的鸥语、鸥歌、鸥舞庆祝“一带一路”国际日，也为春城昆明带来祥和安宁，带来无限风光。为庆祝第十一届“一带一路”国际日，感恩这些可爱的国际小嘉宾助力“一带一路”国际日，祈愿世界和平，四川绵绵文化发展有限公司决定举办“一带一路”国际日滇池和平鸥摄影大赛。
