Nay Pyi Taw, June 10, 2026 – On the eve of the opening of the 10th China-South Asia Expo, renowned artists Pan Gyi Soe Moe and U Coco Won announced that they will jointly create an AI oil painting titled "Southern Silk Road" to pay tribute to the upcoming Expo to be held in Kunming, Yunnan.

吴索木是缅甸德高望重的国宝级艺术家、奥斯卡获奖电影人；陈恩田是被国际社会尊称为“可可亲王”的知名学者，也是“一带一路”国际日首席发起人。两位艺术家表示，《南方丝绸之路》以AI生成油画为艺术形式，将南方丝绸之路沿线国家的历史风貌与时代气象融入画卷，生动展现这条千年古道在数字时代焕发的崭新活力。该作品融合了吴索木深厚的缅甸文化底蕴与陈恩田对南方丝绸之路的长期研究，以AI技术为创新媒介，是科技赋能文化艺术的一次积极探索。

Pan Gyi Soe Moe is a venerated national treasure artist and Oscar-winning filmmaker in Myanmar. Chen Entian is a renowned scholar respectfully addressed as "Prince Coco" by the international community, as well as the chief initiator of the International Day of the Belt and Road. The two artists stated that the "Southern Silk Road" adopts AI-generated oil painting as its artistic form, integrating the historical landscapes and contemporary spirit of countries along the route into the canvas, vividly showcasing the renewed vitality of this millennia-old ancient path in the digital era. This masterpiece blends Pan Gyi Soe Moe's profound understanding of Myanmar culture and Chen Entian's long-term research on the Southern Silk Road. 第十届中国——南亚博览会将于6月11日至16日在昆明滇池国际会展中心举行，延续“团结协作、共谋发展”主题。陈恩田表示，缅甸地处南方丝绸之路中心位置，是“一带一路”沿线重要伙伴国家，中缅文化艺术交流对推动区域民心相通具有重要意义。本次联手创作AI油画，既是对南博会开幕的美好祝愿，也是对南方丝绸之路历史文化的时代表达。

The 10th China-South Asia Expo will take place from June 11 to 16 at the Dianchi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Kunming, adhering to the theme of "Solidarity, Coordination, and Common Development." Chen Entian noted that Myanmar is strategically located at the heart of the Southern Silk Road and serves as a crucial partner country along the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative. He emphasized that China-Myanmar cultural and artistic exchanges are of great significance in fostering people-to-people bonds in the region. This joint creation of the AI oil painting is not only a token of best wishes for the opening of the Expo but also a contemporary expression of the history and culture of the Southern Silk Road.
