世界和平与统一阵线祝贺第十六届海峡论坛大会召开
World Peace and Reunification Front Congratulates on the 16th Straits Forum
印太之光消息，中国当地时间2024年6月15日上午，以“扩大民间交流、深化融合发展”为主题的第十六届海峡论坛大会在福建厦门召开。受世界和平与统一阵线暨世界和平丝带组织第一届至第八届委员会主席陈恩田先生委托，该组织印太地区代表向大会转达了陈恩田主席的祝贺，同时希望祖国早日走向统一，开创中华民族和平繁荣的新局面。
The Light of Indo-Pacific News: On the morning of June 15, 2024, China local time, the 16th Straits Forum was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province, under the theme of "Expanding Civilian Exchanges and Deepening Integration and Development". Entrusted by Mr. Chen Entian, Chairman of the First to Eighth Committees of the World Peace and Reunification Front and the World Peace Ribbon Organization, the representative of the Indo-Pacific region of the organization conveyed his congratulations to the Forum and hoped that the motherland would move towards reunification at an early date, creating a new situation of peace and prosperity for the Chinese nation.

海峡论坛是两岸规模最大、范围最广、影响最深远的民间交流盛会，已经深入基层社区、乡村，聚焦经济、文化、青年各个领域，同时也在不断加入新的交流元素，开拓新的交流领域。自2009年以来，海峡论坛已经连续举办了16届，成为促进两岸各界广泛交往、推动两岸民间交流合作的重要平台。十六年来，论坛始终坚持民间性、草根性、广泛性定位，让两岸各领域各界别同胞通过海峡论坛厚植情谊、增进福祉。
The Straits Forum is the largest, broadest and most far-reaching civil exchange event across the Taiwan Strait, and has penetrated deep into grassroots communities and villages, focusing on various fields of economy, culture and youth, while constantly adding new exchange elements and opening up new areas of exchange. Since 2009, the Straits Forum has been held for 16 consecutive sessions, and has become an important platform for promoting extensive exchanges between various sectors on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and promoting cross-Straits civil exchanges and cooperation. Over the past 16 years, the Forum has always adhered to the positioning of being civil, grassroots and broad-based, so that compatriots from all walks of life on both sides of the Taiwan Strait can cultivate friendship and enhance their well-being through the Forum.

世界和平与统一阵线暨世界和平丝带组织是受“一带一路”国际合作倡议的启发，南陈北冀暨国际七三学社前主席陈恩田与联合国原副秘书长冀朝铸两位前辈依托联合国开创的国际和平组织，这是国际民间社会响应“一带一路”国际合作倡议成立的非政府组织。该组织还将每年12月16日设立为“一带一路”国际日，提出了全球瞩目的五合一世界和平主张，不仅支持中国海峡两岸统一，还希望引领世界在2949年以前统一成地球国。
Inspired by the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the World Peace and Reunification Front and the World Peace Ribbon Organization is an international peace organization founded by Chen Entian, former Chairman of the International Association of the Seven-Three Society, and Ji Chaozhu, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, aka “Southern Chen and Northern Ji”, on the basis of the United Nations. It is a non-governmental organization established by international civil society in response to the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The organization has also designated 16 December as the Belt and Road International Day, and has put forward the globally visible five-in-one proposal for world peace, which not only supports the reunification of China, but also hopes to lead the world to unify into one nation by 2949.
