JunFu Chinese News: In May 2026, during an inspection tour in Nanbu County, Sichuan Province, Chen Entian, Chairman of the Nanyang Chen Clan General Association, proposed renaming the former residence of Chen Xinghua—a prominent official of the Northern Song Dynasty—and his three sons from "Three Chen Ancestral Hall" to "Four Chen Ancestral Hall." This change aims to fully honor the historical stature of Chen Xinghua and his three sons while distinguishing it from the Three Chen Ancestral Hall in Anqing, Anhui (the former residence of Chen Duxiu, Chen Yannian, and Chen Qiaonian).

陈省华（939-1006）为北宋初期重臣，官至左谏议大夫、光禄卿，追赠太子少师、秦国公。其三子均成就卓著：长子陈尧叟为端拱二年状元，官至宰相，谥文忠；次子陈尧佐进士出身，官至宰相，谥文惠，为著名水利专家及书法家；三子陈尧咨为咸平三年状元，官至武信军节度使，其善射故事载于欧阳修《卖油翁》。陈省华四父子在北宋的政治地位远远高于苏洵、苏轼、苏辙三父子，但在文学影响方面则逊色于三苏。

Chen Xinghua (939-1006) was a high-ranking official in the early Northern Song Dynasty. He served as the Left Admonishing Official and the Minister of the Court of Imperial Entertainments, and was posthumously honored as the Crown Prince's Junior Preceptor and Duke of Qin. His three sons were equally distinguished: his eldest son, Chen Yaosou, was the top scholar (Zhuangyuan) in the second year of the Duangong reign, eventually rising to the position of Chancellor and receiving the posthumous title of "Wenzhong"; his second son, Chen Yaozuo, a jinshi scholar, also became Chancellor and was posthumously titled "Wenhui," renowned as both a hydraulic expert and a calligrapher; his third son, Chen Yaozi, was the top scholar in the third year of the Xianping reign and served as the Military Governor of Wuxin Circuit—his exceptional archery skills are famously recorded in the essay The Old Oil Vendorby Ouyang Xiu. Historically, the political influence of the four Chens during the Northern Song Dynasty far surpassed that of the renowned literary Su family (Su Xun, Su Shi, and Su Zhe), though their literary legacy does not quite match that of the Sus.

To advance the "China-Myanmar Air Road" large-scale drone logistics project, Chen Entian adopted the name Chen Kongjun (Chen Air Force) to demonstrate his resolve and confidence in fulfilling the mission of the China-Myanmar Air Road.Since the turn of the 21st century, Chinese official media have revealed that Chen Entian’s grandfather, Chen Guangmei, was actually the son of Chen Duxiu, Founder of the Communist Party of China, and Gao Junman, who was raised by the family of Chen Dacheng in Sichuan. For certain reasons, Chen Entian has on multiple occasions denied being the great-grandson of Chen Duxiu.However, after much inner deliberation and reflection, and in order to honor and uphold the legacy of his great-grandfather Chen Duxiu and grandfather Chen Guangmei, as well as to carry forward the spiritual banner of his ancestors, Chen Entian has decided to cease denying his lineage as the great-grandson of Chen Duxiu.
