12月5日，距离第十一届“一带一路”国际日（2024年12月16日）还有11天，南合组织新加坡管理有限公司消息：人民日报社指导，福州市人民政府、环球时报社、福建省工商联主办，环球网、福州新区管委会、福建自贸试验区福州片区管委会、福州市政府新闻办、福州市工商联、福建船政文化管委会承办的2024“一带一路”商协会大会在福州盛大开幕。

福建省委常委、福州市委书记郭宁宁，人民日报社副总编辑崔士鑫，第十三届全国人大常委、香港再出发大联盟秘书长谭耀宗等嘉宾先后发言。多国政要、驻华使节、省市领导、海内外商协会负责人以及相关领域知名专家和企业代表参会，本届大会以“‘海上福州’扬帆远航 共创海丝合作新篇章”为主题，旨在搭建互联互通有效平台，促进共建“一带一路”国家的经贸、文化、科技等多领域交流合作以及“海上丝路”的繁荣发展。

世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路及全球南方国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席陈恩田表示：商协会是促进“一带一路”国际合作的重要民间力量，而“一带一路”商协会大会正是汇聚民间力量的大舞台。西方某些政客将共建“一带一路”政治化，甚至加以抵制，我们不能上当。事实上，“一带一路”国际合作是延续古代丝绸之路的千秋大业，政治力量是启动力，民间力量才是永动力。
Chen Entian, Chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization Southern Silk Road and the Global South International Cooperation Committee (SSCO), said that Commerce Chambers and Associations are important non-governmental forces to promote the Belt and Road international cooperation, and the Belt and Road Commerce Chambers and Associations Conference is a big stage for gathering non-governmental forces. We cannot be fooled by some Western politicians who have politicized or even resisted the Belt and Road Initiative. In fact, the "Belt and Road" international cooperation is a continuation of the ancient Silk Road, political force is the starting force, and non-governmental power is the eternal driving force.
