Today, we gather to discuss the strategic significance of the "China-Myanmar Air Road," a low-altitude drone logistics transportation project. This marks not only a new milestone in China-Myanmar cooperation but also an innovative practice in collaborative development for Global South nations. On behalf of the World Peace Ribbon Organization Southern Silk Road and Global South International Cooperation Committee, I extend my sincere greetings and heartfelt gratitude to all participants.
作为“中老铁路”之后的又一国际交通示范工程，"中缅空路"开创了低空经济新模式。无人机物流网络突破传统地理限制，在缅甸复杂地貌中构建起24小时智能运输通道，将印度洋港口与内陆腹地高效衔接。这种"智慧基建+绿色物流"模式，既是对南方丝绸之路的历史传承，更是数字时代国际运输体系的革新突破。
As a pioneering international transportation project following the "China-Laos Railway," the "China-Myanmar Air Road" introduces a novel model for low-altitude economies. By transcending traditional geographical constraints, the drone logistics network establishes a 24-hour intelligent transportation corridor across Myanmar’s complex terrain, seamlessly linking Indian Ocean ports with inland regions. This "smart infrastructure + green logistics" framework not only honors the legacy of the Southern Silk Road but also represents a transformative breakthrough in the digital-era global transport system.
该项目将实质性打通中缅印度洋新通道，使中国西部与印度洋的陆海联动时间缩短60%以上，为区域产业链重构注入新动能。更重要的是，它开创了发展中国家以技术创新实现弯道超车的合作样板——无需巨额基建投入，通过低空资源共享与数字技术融合，就能实现物流网络升级，这对全球南方国家具有重要示范意义。
The project will substantially open a new China-Myanmar-Indian Ocean corridor, slashing over 60% of the land-sea transit time between western China and the Indian Ocean. This injects fresh momentum into regional industrial chain restructuring. Crucially, it sets a collaborative precedent for developing nations to achieve technological "leapfrogging"—by integrating low-altitude resource sharing and digital innovation, logistics networks can be upgraded without massive infrastructure investments. This holds profound exemplary value for Global South nations.
