Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing Holds Talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet to Curb Cross-

Phnom Penh News On September 11, Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, visited Cambodia and held bilateral talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on bilateral relations and regional security, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation at bilateral, regional/global levels.

The two leaders focused on the governance of cross-border crimes and pledged to step up joint efforts to combat transnational illegal activities including human trafficking, drug smuggling, telecom fraud and online fraud. During the talks, both sides confirmed that Myanmar will send representatives to attend the International Conference on Combating Cyber Fraud to be held in Phnom Penh on September 23-24. The two countries stated that they will deepen law enforcement cooperation through the multilateral conference platform, jointly curb the spread of cross-border crimes and safeguard regional security and stability.
