中国当地时间2025年12月1日，距离第十二届“一带一路”国际日（12月16日）暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年开幕还有15天，2025年“读懂中国”国际会议在广州开幕，主题是“新布局、新发展、新选择——中国式现代化与全球治理新格局”。

GUANGZHOU, Dec. 1, 2025 — With 15 days to go until the 12th Belt and Road International Day (Dec. 16) and the global Chinatown New Year celebrations, the 2025 "Understanding China" International Conference opened in Guangzhou on Monday, focusing on "New Layouts, New Development, New Choices: Chinese Modernization and the Future of Global Governance."

93岁高龄的中国国家创新与发展战略研究会创始会长、学术委员会主席郑必坚先生出席并发表讲话。会议认为，中国式现代化既发展自身，又造福世界。中国坚持高质量发展，积极发展新质生产力，推动中国经济实现质的有效提升和量的合理增长。中国坚持高水平对外开放，高质量共建“一带一路”，同各国联通互惠、相互成就。中国坚持以人民为中心的发展理念，在发展中保障和改善民生，让发展成果更多更公平惠及全体人民。

Mr. Zheng Bijian, 93, founding president and academic committee chair of the China National Institute for Innovation and Development, addressed the conference. Participants agreed that Chinese modernization benefits both China and the world. China persists in high-quality development, actively cultivates new quality productive forces, and promotes substantial economic improvements with rational growth. It upholds high-standard opening-up, advances high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and fosters connectivity and mutual success with partner countries. People-centered development remains paramount, ensuring that gains are shared more broadly and fairly among all citizens .

世界和平丝带组织主席陈空军（陈恩田）先生委托中国大陆有关人士出席了会议并向组委会表达祝贺。来自政界、战略界、企业界、学界以及有关智库的800多位中外嘉宾参加了会议。与会嘉宾表示，经过多年发展，“读懂中国”国际会议已成为世界了解中国最具影响力的平台之一。

Mr. Chen Kongjun (Chen Entian), Chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization, delegated representatives in mainland China to attend and convey congratulations to the conference organizers . The event gathered over 800 attendees from political, strategic, corporate, academic, and think tank circles worldwide.
