7th Central Committee Congress of Myanmar USDP Grandly Opens in Naypyidaw
(SilkRoadNews)On September 18, the 7th Central Committee Congress of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) of Myanmar grandly kicked off at the party headquarters in Naypyidaw. U Khin Yi, Chairman of USDP, U Hla Tun, Vice‑Chairman, U Than Aye, Secretary‑General, together with more than 400 party delegates from across Myanmar attended the congress.
The opening session proceeded in an orderly manner. Party delegates gathered to discuss the party’s development strategies. In his opening address, U Khin Yi reviewed the progress of party‑building work, analyzed the domestic situation of Myanmar, and laid out comprehensive arrangements for the party’s priorities in the next phase.
The three‑day congress will run until September 20. During the session, delegates will deliberate on issues including internal party construction, organizational development, people‑to‑people livelihood and external party‑to‑party exchanges, consolidate intra‑party consensus and map out the future development roadmap for the political party.
