Chen Entian expressed his hope to unite various guild halls to jointly support the development of the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road and the Southern Silk Road. As a vital node city for the Maritime Silk Road and Southern Silk Road, Singapore hosts numerous guild halls embodying Silk Road cultural heritage, which hold an important position in the development of the Southern Silk Road.
The inspection aims to strengthen communication and cooperation among guild halls, give full play to their role as people-to-people bridges overseas. Leveraging guild halls as cultural carriers, it will boost cultural exchanges and commercial connectivity along the routes, consolidating the foundation for non-governmental cooperation on the Silk Road.
