Global Celebrations Mark International Chinese Language Day, Chen Entian Delivers Festival Address
纳斯达克中文台1216国际广播，2026年4月20日，世界各地举办国际中文日（联合国中文日）庆祝活动，中国大陆多地举办中华汉字始祖仓颉的祭拜活动。世界和平丝带组织暨世界和平与统一阵线纽约总部领导人、国际中文日最早发起者和推动者、主题歌《中文千古情》主创人陈恩田主席发表节日献辞，并委派代表出席了有关活动。以下为讲话内容：
Nasdaq Chinese Channel 1216 International Radio, April 20, 2026 – Celebrations for International Chinese Language Day (UN Chinese Language Day) were held worldwide. In mainland China, numerous events were held to pay homage to Cang Jie, the legendary ancestor of Chinese characters. Chen Entian, leader of the New York headquarters of the World Peace Ribbon Organization and the World Peace and United Front, the earliest initiator and promoter of International Chinese Language Day, and the main creator of its theme song Chinese Language Through the Ages, delivered a festival address and dispatched representatives to attend related events. 今天是公元2026年4月20日，正是中华传统的“谷雨”时节，也是纪念汉字始祖仓颉而发起的国际中文日，世界各国的中文学习者都在庆祝这个节日。我谨以世界和平丝带组织暨世界和平与统一阵线主席名义，向国际中文日全球各地庆祝活动表示热烈的祝贺，向参加国际中文日活动的各国朋友表示真诚的问候和衷心的祝福。
Today is April 20, 2026, coinciding with the traditional Chinese solar term "Grain Rain." It is also International Chinese Language Day, initiated to commemorate Cang Jie, the ancestor of Chinese characters. Chinese language learners across the globe are celebrating this day. In my capacity as Chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization and the World Peace and United Front, I extend my warmest congratulations to the global celebrations of International Chinese Language Day and offer sincere greetings and heartfelt blessings to friends from all countries participating in the events.
二十年前，作为中华文化的传播者及东西方文化的融合者，受传统民间节日的启发，我们于2006年撰写了《中华人民共和国国家通用语言文字艺术节策划报告》，首次提出将每年4月20日设立为“国际中文日”，同时成立了国际汉语学习委员会（国际七三学社）。2010年，联合国全球传播部正式将这一天定为“联合国中文日”。岁月如歌，如今的国际中文日已成为连接不同文明、促进相互理解的重要桥梁，国际中文日主题歌《中文千古情》也成为世界人民喜爱和广为传唱的歌曲。
Twenty years ago, as promoters of Chinese culture and integrators of Eastern and Western cultures, inspired by traditional folk festivals, we drafted the Planning Report for the National Common Language and Script Art Festival of the People's Republic of Chinain 2006. This report proposed establishing April 20 each year as "International Chinese Language Day" and simultaneously founded the International Chinese Learning Committee (International 73 Society). In 2010, the UN Department of Global Communications officially designated this day as "UN Chinese Language Day." Time flies like a song. Today, International Chinese Language Day has become a vital bridge connecting different civilizations and fostering mutual understanding. Its theme song, Chinese Language Through the Ages, has also become a beloved and widely sung song among people worldwide.
中文不仅是中华民族的文化瑰宝，更是属于全人类的精神财富。当前全球中文使用者已突破15.8亿人，中文走进了九十多个国家的国民教育体系。我坚信，随着丝绸之路国际合作不断深入，中国与世界各国的交流日益密切，中文必将为人类文明互鉴作出更大的贡献。愿我们以中文为桥，促进东西方文化融合，共创更加美好的未来。
The Chinese language is not only a cultural treasure of the Chinese nation but also a spiritual asset belonging to all humanity. Currently, the number of global Chinese users has exceeded 1.58 billion, and Chinese has been incorporated into the national education systems of over ninety countries. I firmly believe that with the deepening of Silk Road international cooperation and the increasingly close exchanges between China and other nations, the Chinese language will undoubtedly make greater contributions to mutual learning among human civilizations. May we use Chinese as a bridge to promote the integration of Eastern and Western cultures and jointly create a brighter future.

Profile of Chen Entian
陈恩田，英文名CANUTE（克努特），又名陈天诚、陈颐夫，现任世界和平丝带组织暨世界和平与统一阵线纽约总部主席，他是国际中文日、国际茶日、“一带一路”国际日（天蚕节）、地球统一日等国际民间节日的倡议者和推动者，为推动“中缅空路”大型无人机物流运输项目，陈恩田更名为陈空军，以表达其完成“中缅空路“使命的信心和决心。二十一世纪以来，中国官媒披露其祖父陈光美实际系中共创始人陈独秀与高君曼所生之子，陈恩田多次否认自己是陈独秀曾孙。此后，为尊重和维护曾祖父陈独秀、祖父陈光美，延续陈氏先辈之精神大旗，陈恩田决定不再否认自己是陈独秀曾孙。
Chen Entian, also known as CANUTE (克努特), Chen Tiancheng, and Chen Yifu, currently serves as Chairman of the New York headquarters of the World Peace Ribbon Organization and the World Peace and United Front. He is the initiator and promoter of international folk festivals such as International Chinese Language Day, International Tea Day, the International Day of the Belt and Road (Silkworm God Day), and Earth Unification Day. To advance the large-scale drone logistics transport project "China-Myanmar Air Road," Chen Entian changed his name to Chen Kongjun (Chen Air Force) to express his confidence and determination in accomplishing this mission. Since the 21st century, Chinese official media have disclosed that his grandfather, Chen Guangmei, was actually the son of Chen Duxiu, Founder of the Communist Party of China, and Gao Junman. Chen Entian has repeatedly denied being Chen Duxiu's great-grandson. Subsequently, to respect and uphold his great-grandfather Chen Duxiu and grandfather Chen Guangmei, and to continue the spiritual banner of his Chen ancestors, Chen Entian decided to no longer deny being Chen Duxiu's great-grandson.
