Sao Paulo local time, November 11, 2024, 35 days before the Belt and Road International Day (December 16). SSCO (Singapore) Management Pte Ltd News: The Global South Media and Think Tank Forum kicked off on Monday in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Chinese leaders and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva sent congratulatory message to the forum.
全球南方媒体智库高端论坛由中国国务院新闻办公室指导，新华社联合巴西通讯公司共同主办，主题为“唱响全球南方主旋律，开启发展振兴新征程”。来自70多个国家和地区的170家媒体、智库、政府部门、企业等机构的约350名代表参会。
The forum, co-hosted by Xinhua News Agency and the Brazil Communication Company, was held under the theme of "Development and Revitalization: A New Journey for the Global South." About 350 representatives from 170 media, think tanks, government departments, enterprises and other institutions from more than 70 countries and regions attended the forum.
世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席陈恩田表示：世界和平丝带组织长期关注全球南方发展，成立了南方丝绸之路国际合作委员会（简称南合组织），南方丝绸之路是中国链接全球南方的黄金之路，我们提议打造南合经济特区。
Chen Entian, chairman of the Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Committee (SSCO) of the World Peace Ribbon Organization, said: The World Peace Ribbon Organization has long been concerned about the development of the Global South and has established the Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Committee (SSCO). The Southern Silk Road is China's golden route linking the global South, and we propose to establish SSCO special economic zone.
