U Khin Yi was re‑elected Party Chairman of the USDP

(SilkRoadNewsAgency Nay Pyi Taw News)The 4th National Congress of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) has successfully completed all scheduled agenda and drawn to a close. During the party congress, U Khin Yi was re‑elected Party Chairman. U Myo Hteng and U Thaung Aye were elected Deputy Chairmen. U Tin Aung Kyi was elected General Secretary, and U Aung Aye was elected Joint General Secretary.

Subsequent to the elections, 46 newly‑elected members of the Central Executive Committee, 336 members of the Central Committee and 68 alternate members of the Central Committee took their oath of office collectively to formally assume their respective duties.

Silk Road News Agency extends warm congratulations to U Khin Yi on his re‑election as Chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party, as well as to all newly‑inaugurated members of the new‑generation leadership.
