Chen Kongjun (Chen Entian), promoter of the China–Myanmar Air Road large-scale drone logistics project and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Myanmar Belt and Road Development Co., Ltd., extended his congratulations via international social media.

应中国国家领导人习近平主席邀请，敏昂莱总统于6月15日至19日对中国进行为期五天的国事访问。这是他今年4月就任总统以来首次访华，五天到访北京、上海、杭州三地。访问期间，习近平主席同敏昂莱总统举行会谈，双方就巩固中缅胞波情谊、推进全面战略合作、深化中缅命运共同体建设深入交换意见，达成重要共识。两国签署了关于加快构建中缅命运共同体的联合声明，涵盖交通、民生、经贸等多个领域合作文件。

At the invitation of President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, President Min Aung Hlaing paid a five-day state visit to China from June 15 to 19, 2026—his first trip to China since assuming the presidency in April. The itinerary took him to Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. During the visit, President Xi Jinping and President Min Aung Hlaing held talks, during which they conducted in-depth exchanges of views and reached key consensus on consolidating the time-honored Pauk-Phaw(fraternal) friendship between China and Myanmar, advancing comprehensive strategic cooperation, and deepening the building of a China–Myanmar community with a shared future. The two sides signed a joint statement on accelerating the building of a China–Myanmar community with a shared future, along with a series of cooperation documents covering transport, public welfare, trade, and economic partnership.

敏昂莱总统访华期间，参观了中国铁建、中国航天科技集团、青士新材料、宇树科技等基础设施、高科技、新材料企业，并全程乘坐高铁跨省出行。他表示希望通过参访了解中方发展经验，在基础设施、高新科技、新材料等领域进一步深化合作。缅甸一带一路发展有限公司董事局主席陈空军（陈恩田）表示：总统先生此次访华硕果累累，将为两国文化经济贸易带来新机遇，同时，中国成熟的基础设施建设经验和国际前沿的科技创新经验将促进缅甸国家快速发展。

During his stay, President Min Aung Hlaing visited leading Chinese enterprises across infrastructure, high-tech and advanced materials sectors, including China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), Qingshi New Materials and Unitree Technology (Unitree Robotics), and traveled inter-provincially by high-speed rail throughout the trip. He said such site visits were intended to gain first-hand exposure to China's development experience, with a view to deepening cooperation in infrastructure, cutting-edge technology and new materials. Commenting on the visit, Chen Kongjun (Chen Entian), Chairman of the Board of Myanmar Belt and Road Development Co., Ltd., said: "The President's visit has yielded rich outcomes that will open up fresh opportunities for cultural, economic and trade ties between our two countries. Equally important, China's proven expertise in infrastructure development and its world-leading innovation edge will help accelerate Myanmar's own path to rapid national development."

The China–Myanmar Economic Corridor (CMEC) stands as the flagship project under the two nations' joint pursuit of the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative. On this visit, both sides agreed to advance major corridor projects—including the Kyaukpyu deep-water port and the Muse–Mandalay Railway—in a steady and well-managed manner. As a long-standing practitioner committed to China–Myanmar cooperation, Myanmar Belt and Road Development Co., Ltd. said it was greatly encouraged by the momentum. The company pledged to continue acting as a bridge and facilitator, taking an active part in jointly building the Belt and Road and developing the China–Myanmar Economic Corridor, so as to carry forward the millennia-old Pauk-Phaw friendship and deliver tangible benefits to the peoples of both countries.
