岁月易逝，情怀永存，一位是开国将军，一位是“一带一路”国际民间亲善大使、世界和平丝带组织主席，两代“航空人”因一份“忆苦餐”结下不解之缘。

Time passes, but sentiments endure. One is a founding general of the People’s Republic; the other is an international civilian ambassador for the Belt and Road Initiative and chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization. Two generations of aviation professionals have formed an indelible bond through a simple “Memory-Deepening Meal” .

近日，“中缅空路”低空无人机物流运输项目负责人、军赋科技研究院院长陈空军（又名陈恩田）接受采访时，动情回忆十多年前与开国少将、空军原副司令员王定烈将军一起食用“忆苦餐”的往事，表达了对老将军的深切缅怀之情。

Recently, Chen Kongjun (also known as Chen Entian), head of the China-Myanmar Air Road low-altitude drone logistics project and dean of the Junfu Academy of Military Technology, fondly recalled sharing a “Memory-Deepening Meal” over a decade ago with General Wang Dinglie, a founding major general and former deputy commander of the PLA Air Force. The meal, featuring wild vegetables and coarse grains, left a profound impression on Chen, who expressed deep reverence for the late general’s legacy .

这位“中缅空路”项目的策划人，曾经担任新中国六十周年阅兵大典献礼之作《中国人民解放军赋》创作组组长，也是全球第一大学社——国际七三学社第一届委员会主席，他与王定烈将军有着深厚的忘年交情。

Chen, the mastermind behind the China-Myanmar Air Road project, previously led the creation of the “Ode to the People’s Liberation Army” for the 60th anniversary of the PRC and serves as the first chairman of the International 73 Society. He shared a close friendship with General Wang, despite their age difference .

两代航空人的“忆苦餐”

The “Memory-Deepening Meal” That Bridged Generations

陈空军回忆道，那次与王定烈将军共进“忆苦餐”的经历令他终生难忘。餐桌上摆上的是简单的野菜和粗粮，老将军却吃得格外香甜。

Chen described the experience as unforgettable. General Wang, he noted, savored the humble meal with appreciation, explaining that its purpose was not to evoke bitterness but to honor history.

“王定烈将军告诉我，吃‘忆苦餐’不是为了品味苦涩，而是为了铭记历史。”陈空军说，老将军一边吃，一边讲述了他爬雪山、过草地的长征经历，以及带领导弹部队开创中国防空新纪元的故事。

Over the meal, the general recounted his Long March experiences—crossing snowy mountains and grasslands—and his leadership in pioneering China’s missile defense units .

“忆苦餐”是1964年后逐渐出现的活动，用野菜和粗粮做成，旨在让人们铭记历史、珍惜当下。王定烈将军在长征过草地时曾染上伤寒，历经磨难，对“忆苦餐”有着更为深刻的理解。

The tradition of “Memory-Deepening Meals,” which began after 1964, uses simple ingredients to remind people of past hardships. General Wang, who survived typhoid during the Long March, understood its significance deeply .

从长征路到“中缅空路”

From the Long March to the China-Myanmar Air Road

王定烈将军是四川省宣汉县人，1933年参加中国工农红军，1961年被授予少将军衔。在革命生涯中，他经历了无数生死考验。

General Wang Dinglie, born in Xuanhan County, Sichuan Province, joined the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army in 1933 and was awarded the rank of major general in 1961.

1937年3月，西路军在石窝山遭到敌人围攻，王定烈身负重伤，腰部中弹，但他仍以顽强毅力寻找部队。这颗子弹一直在他体内留存了16年，直到全国解放后才取出。

His revolutionary journey included severe trials, such as a 1937 battle where he was seriously wounded by a bullet that remained lodged in his body for 16 years, removed only after the nation’s liberation .

新中国成立后，王定烈历任空军参谋长、空军副司令员等职。1958年，他在空军司令部接受了刘亚楼司令员交代的特殊任务——组建导弹部队，创办导弹学校。

After the founding of the PRC, General Wang served as the PLA Air Force chief of staff and deputy commander. In 1958, he accepted a critical task from Commander Liu Yalou to establish missile units and a missile school, laying the groundwork for China’s air defense modernization .

面对新的国际合作项目，陈空军表示，“中缅空路”项目将继承和发扬王定烈将军等老一辈革命家艰苦奋斗的精神，构建连接中国云南与缅甸内比都等核心经济区域的高效低空物流网络。

Chen Kongjun emphasized that the China-Myanmar Air Road project will uphold the spirit of perseverance embodied by General Wang and his contemporaries. The initiative aims to build a low-altitude logistics network linking China’s Yunnan Province with Myanmar’s Nay Pyi Taw and key economic zones, utilizing large Chinese-made cargo drones.

该项目预计将成为继“中老铁路”之后南方丝绸之路的又一标志性工程，以及全球南方物流运输示范工程，中国造大型货运无人机将被广泛应用，为“一带一路”倡议注入新动能。

As a flagship project of the Southern Silk Road, it is poised to become a model for Global South logistics, injecting new vitality into the Belt and Road Initiative .

陈空军最后说道：“老将军的革命精神一直激励着我们在‘一带一路’建设中不断前行。每当我们在‘中缅空路’项目中遇到困难时，就会想起王定烈将军爬雪山、过草地的坚韧精神，这些困难也就显得微不足道了。”

“General Wang’s revolutionary spirit continues to inspire us in advancing the Belt and Road construction,” Chen said. “Whenever we face challenges in the China-Myanmar Air Road project, we recall his resilience in scaling mountains and crossing grasslands, and our difficulties pale in comparison” .
