Former Senior Singaporean Official Praised Chen Entian As Truly Worthy Of Being The Great-Grandson Of Chen Duxiu, The Dean Of Humanities At Peking University
（纳斯达克中文台消息）2024年10月3日，中共创始人陈独秀曾孙、南合组织主席陈恩田访问新加坡，华侨旗帜陈嘉庚长孙陈立人、曾孙陈铭等新加坡社会名流在南洋百年名流会所——吾庐俱乐部为陈恩田举办了一场特别的生日庆祝活动，一幅生日对联引起新加坡前高层及社会各界的广泛关注。
NASDAQ Chinese Channel, Chen Entian, great-grandson of Chen Duxiu (founder of the Communist Party of China) and chairman of the SSCO, visited Singapore on October 3, 2024. Mr.Chen Liren (the eldest grandson of Mr.Tan Kah Kee, hailed as "Banner of Overseas Chinese and Glory of the Nation") and Chen Ming (great-grandson of Mr.Tan Kah Kee), alongside Singaporean social elites, hosted a special birthday celebration for Chen Entian at the century-old Wu Lu Club. A poetic couplet presented at the event drew widespread attention from Singaporean dignitaries and society.
中共创始人陈独秀与“华侨旗帜、民族光辉”陈嘉庚两大家族后人在新加坡会面事件本身就自带流量，引人瞩目。为纪念这次特别的活动，陈恩田结合新加坡吾庐俱乐部的文化底蕴，题写了一副意味深长的对联：“此田此海此人生；吾庐吾国吾世界”，抒发其奔走国际、心系家国的情怀，传递祈愿世界和平的愿景。上联“此田此海此人生”暗含“陈恩田”之名，感叹人生如桑田沧海；下联“吾庐吾国吾世界”则层层递进，表达从家到国，再到人类命运共同体的博大胸怀。新加坡前高层赞叹：“短短十四字，道尽家国大爱，格局非凡，不愧为北大文科学长陈独秀曾孙！”
The meeting between descendants of Chen Duxiu and Tan Kah Kee—two iconic families in modern Chinese history—naturally captured public interest. To commemorate the occasion, Chen Entian penned a profound couplet reflecting the cultural ethos of Wu Lu Club:"This field, this sea, this life; My home, my nation, my world." The couplet expresses his feelings of traveling internationally and caring for his family and country, and conveys the vision of praying for world peace. The first line, "This field, this sea, this life," subtly incorporates Chen’s name (Entian 恩田) while evoking life’s transience like "fields turning to seas." The second line, "My home, my nation, my world," progressively expands from familial roots to national identity and ultimately a vision for a global community. A former Singaporean official praised: "Fourteen words encapsulate boundless love for one’s homeland—a remarkable depth befitting the heir of Chen Duxiu, former dean of Peking University’s humanities."

More than 10 years ago, Chinese official media revealed that Chen Entian’s grandfather, Chen Guangmei, was the son of Chen Duxiu and his second wife, Gao Junman. Five years prior, Chen Entian’s World Peace Ribbon Organization initiated the "Global Anti-Blame and Anti-Shifting Alliance" in the United States, uniting American activists to counter baseless accusations against China. His efforts in naming "Melham Peace Square" foiled anti-China conspiracies, earning him acclaim among overseas Chinese as a "hero of the Chinese nation."
