纽约当地时间9月16日，世界和平丝带组织纽约秘书处成功召开全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年筹备工作会议。会议以线上线下结合方式举行，世界和平丝带组织（世界和平与统一阵线）第一届至第八届委员会主席陈恩田通过视频方式出席并发表讲话，与会代表推举其担任2025年全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年组委会主席。

On September 16, local time in New York, the World Peace Ribbon Organization's New York Secretariat successfully convened a preparatory meeting for the Global Chinatowns "Belt and Road" New Year celebrations. The hybrid meeting, held both online and offline, was attended via video link by Chen Entian, who served as Chairman of the First through Eighth Committees of the World Peace Ribbon Organization (World Peace and United Front). During the meeting, he was elected by representatives as the Chairman of the 2025 Global Chinatowns "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations Organizing Committee.

陈恩田在讲话中指出，“一带一路”迎新年活动涵盖“一带一路”国际日（12月16日）、圣诞节、元旦节、春节及元宵节共五大中外重要节日，是连接中华文化与世界文明的重要桥梁。他进一步表示，近年来，全球多个国家和地区的唐人街积极组织开展“一带一路”迎新年系列活动，内容丰富多彩，反响热烈，不仅获得华人华侨的广泛支持，也得到各国人民的积极参与，为弘扬中华优秀传统文化、促进文明互鉴、推动世界和平与发展提供了崭新的平台。

In his address, Chen Entian emphasized that the "Belt and Road" New Year celebrations encompass five major Chinese and international holidays, including the "Belt and Road" International Day (December 16), Christmas, New Year’s Day, the Spring Festival, and the Lantern Festival. He described these celebrations as a vital bridge connecting Chinese culture with global civilizations. Chen further noted that in recent years, Chinatowns worldwide have actively organized a series of "Belt and Road" New Year events. These activities, rich in content and warmly received, have not only garnered widespread support among overseas Chinese but also attracted enthusiastic participation from people of various countries. They provide a fresh platform for promoting outstanding traditional Chinese culture, fostering mutual learning among civilizations, and advancing global peace and development.

经与会代表一致推举，陈恩田再次担任世界和平丝带组织2025年全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年组委会主席。未来，组委会将考虑与中国外文局（中国国际传播集团）建立友好协作关系，继续致力于推动该项活动在全球范围内的组织与推广，发挥传播优势，促进文化融合，增强国际社会对“一带一路”倡议和平、友好、共荣理念的理解与认同。

Following a unanimous vote by the representatives, Chen Entian was reappointed as the Chairman of the 2025 Global Chinatowns "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations Organizing Committee under the World Peace Ribbon Organization. Moving forward, the committee plans to establish a collaborative relationship with the China International Communications Group (CICG). This partnership will focus on promoting the event globally, leveraging communication strengths to facilitate cultural integration, and enhancing international understanding and recognition of the Belt and Road Initiative’s principles of peace, friendship, and shared prosperity.

全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年活动创办五年来，已成为一项具有广泛影响力的国际性文化盛事，通过节庆文化交融，展现了“和平合作、开放包容、互学互鉴、互利共赢”的带路精神，进一步促进了中外民间友好交流与文化共融。全球兄弟组织纷纷致信，向陈恩田当选2025年全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年组委会主席表达祝贺。

Over the past five years, the Global Chinatowns "Belt and Road" New Year celebrations have grown into a widely influential international cultural event.
