陈恩田在《太行祭》开幕式上的内部讲话
Internal Address by Chen Entian at the Opening Ceremony of "Elegy of Taihang"
尊敬的各位抗战将士后代，军赋书画院各位老部长老将军，各位来宾，各位朋友，女士们、先生们：
Respected descendants of WWII soldiers, esteemed former ministers and generals from the Junfu Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, distinguished guests, friends, ladies, and gentlemen,

Good afternoon!
10多年前，我在太行山革命老区阜平创作了《太行祭》，并在国防部官网及解放军报等媒体上发表，书法作品先后在八路军太行纪念馆、中国人民抗日战争纪念馆、中国人民革命军事博物馆、清华大学等单位展览。今天，党和国家举行纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利八十周年盛大阅兵活动，作为一名长期从事国际文化交流的学者，我也希望接受祖国的检阅，同时尽自己的绵薄之力。
Over a decade ago, I created the "Elegy of Taihang" in Fuping, a revolutionary old base area within the Taihang Mountains. It was published on the official website of China's Ministry of National Defense and in the PLA Daily, among other media outlets. Calligraphy works of it have been exhibited at institutions including the Eighth Route Army Taihang Memorial Hall, the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Chinese People's Revolution Military Museum, and Tsinghua University. Today, as the Party and state hold a grand military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, I, as a scholar long engaged in international cultural exchanges, also hope to answer the call of my homeland and contribute my modest effort.
二十多年前，习近平主席创作了一篇情真意切的文章《我是黄土地的儿子》，回忆他在延安梁家河当知青的往事。后来我们军赋书画院追随习主席的脚步，在梁家河设立陕北创作基地，根据习主席的回忆文章，我们创作了党的群众路线教育实践活动主题歌《我是黄土地的儿子》。中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利八十周年之际，我们决定用八十公斤延安黄土撒在太行山上，祭奠牺牲在太行山的抗战将士，以及中华民族的先贤先烈，希望我们这个活动不是添乱，而是添砖。
More than twenty years ago, President Xi Jinping penned a heartfelt article, "I Am the Son of the Yellow Earth," recalling his days as an educated youth in Liangjiahe, Yan'an. Following in President Xi's footsteps, our Junfu Academy later established a creative base in Liangjiahe, Shaanxi province. Inspired by President Xi's memoir, we composed the theme song "I Am the Son of the Yellow Earth" for the Party's mass line education and practice campaign. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, we decided to scatter eighty kilograms of yellow soil from Yan'an over the Taihang Mountains to pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives there and to all the martyrs and sages of the Chinese nation. We hope this event adds a constructive brick, not causes any disruption.
说到抗战，太行山可谓光芒万丈，在中国共产党的党史上具有极其重要的意义，主要体现在以下几个方面：
Speaking of the War of Resistance, the Taihang Mountains shine brilliantly and hold extremely significant importance in the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC), primarily reflected in the following aspects:
1.革命根据地：
1.Revolutionary Base Area:
抗日战争时期，太行山是中国共产党领导的八路军重要的抗日根据地。在这里，中国共产党发动群众，开展游击战争，牵制并打击了日本侵略者，为抗日战争的胜利作出了重要贡献。
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Taihang Mountains served as a crucial base for the Eighth Route Army under the leadership of the CPC. Here, the CPC mobilized the masses, waged guerrilla warfare, contained and struck blows against the Japanese invaders, making vital contributions to the victory.
2.战略要地：
2.Strategic Stronghold:
太行山地势险要，易守难攻，为中国共产党及其领导的军队提供了天然的屏障，使其能够在艰苦的环境中坚持斗争，并逐步发展壮大。
The formidable topography of the Taihang Mountains, easily defensible and hard to attack, provided a natural barrier for the CPC and its armed forces, enabling them to persist and grow stronger through arduous struggles.
3.政治与经济试验：
3.Political and Economic Experiments:
在太行山根据地，中国共产党实施了一系列政治、经济和社会改革，如土地改革、民主政权建设等，这些实践为后来新中国的治理积累了宝贵经验。
Within the Taihang base area, the CPC implemented a series of political, economic, and social reforms, such as land reform and the establishment of democratic governance. These practices accumulated valuable experience for the subsequent governance of New China.
4.精神象征：
4.Spiritual Symbol:
太行山象征着中国共产党和中国人民在极端困难条件下坚韧不拔、英勇奋斗的革命精神。这种精神至今仍被广泛传颂，激励着后人。
The Taihang Mountains symbolize the revolutionary spirit of perseverance and heroic struggle exhibited by the CPC and the Chinese people under extremely difficult conditions. This spirit continues to be celebrated and inspires generations.
5.党的领导与群众路线：
5.Party Leadership and Mass Line:
在太行山时期，中国共产党深化了群众路线，密切了与人民群众的联系，赢得了广泛支持，这为革命的最终胜利奠定了坚实基础。
During the Taihang period, the CPC deepened the mass line, strengthened its ties with the people, and gained widespread support, laying a solid foundation for the ultimate victory of the revolution.
综上所述，太行山不仅见证了中国共产党抗战的光辉事迹，也是中国共产党艰苦奋斗、密切联系群众、坚持抗战的象征。因此，我们用八十公斤延安黄土祭奠牺牲在太行山的抗战将士，以及中华民族的先贤先烈，可以算积极主动替党和国家做一件力所能及的事。大家知道，二十一世纪以来，党媒党刊透露我的祖父陈光美实际系陈独秀与高君曼所生之子，作为中国共产党主要创始人陈独秀的后代，我的心注定和祖党、祖国连在一起，反共反华分子视我为眼中钉，在国际社会造谣污蔑我，妄图于我不利，正如国民党前主席洪秀柱女士所说：我也不怕。
In summary, the Taihang Mountains not only witnessed the glorious deeds of the CPC during the War of Resistance but also stand as a symbol of the Party's hard work, close ties with the masses, and steadfast resistance. Therefore, using eighty kilograms of Yan'an soil to pay homage to the martyrs of the Taihang Mountains and the revered sages and heroes of the Chinese nation can be considered our proactive effort to do what we can for the Party and the country. As many know, since the 21st century, Party media has revealed that my grandfather, Chen Guangmei, was actually the son of Chen Duxiu and Gao Junman. As a descendant of Chen Duxiu, a principal founder of the CPC, my heart is inevitably bound to the Party of my forefathers and my motherland. Anti-communist and anti-China elements view me as a thorn in their side, spreading rumors and slander against me internationally, attempting to harm me. But as Ms. Hung Hsiu-chu, former chairperson of the Kuomintang, said: I am not afraid.
最后，我要谢谢延安乡亲们的支持，谢谢北京有关单位的协助，祝愿《太行祭》活动圆满成功，祝福诸位身体健康、万事胜意！
