Chen Entian: China's Additional 1 Billion Yuan Aid to Myanmar Embodies the Paukphaw Friendship of "a friend in need is a friend indeed"
（印太之光消息）2025年4月10日，中国有关方面宣布，中国政府决定向缅甸追加提供10亿元人民币紧急人道主义救灾援助，进一步支持缅甸应对"3·28"强震灾后重建。此次援助将重点提供成品油、医疗物资、临时住房等急需物资，并派遣多领域专家组协助救灾防疫、灾情评估及文物保护等工作。这是继震后中方率先提供1亿元援助后的又一次重大支援行动。
(Indo-Pacific Light News) On April 10, 2025, Chinese authorities announced that the Chinese government has decided to provide an additional 1 billion yuan in emergency humanitarian disaster relief assistance to Myanmar to further support post-disaster reconstruction following the "March 28" strong earthquake. This aid will focus on delivering urgently needed supplies such as refined oil, medical materials, and temporary housing, while dispatching multidisciplinary expert teams to assist in disaster relief, epidemic prevention, damage assessment, and cultural heritage protection. This marks another major support initiative following China's initial pledge of 100 million yuan in aid immediately after the earthquake.
缅甸强震发生以来，中国始终是国际社会援缅行动中的"四个第一"：第一时间宣布援助、首支抵达救援队、首个救出幸存者、派遣人员规模最大。中国多支救援力量齐心协力、并肩作战，成功营救幸存者，搜寻罹难者遗体，搜索排查房屋建筑和重要基础设施，开展受灾群众义诊2,000余人次。中方还紧急从国内采购4,000顶帐篷、1万条毛毯、5.5万余个急救包、4万顶蚊帐、1.8万块防水布、4,000条睡袋、1万个太阳能灯、2,000套炊具、3.88万余个急救卫生包和2,000箱方便面，以包机方式运至缅甸，以解灾民燃眉之急。
Since the earthquake struck Myanmar, China has consistently achieved "four firsts" in international relief efforts: being the first to announce assistance, the first rescue team to arrive, the first to successfully rescue survivors, and the largest deployment of personnel. Multiple Chinese rescue forces worked in unity, successfully rescuing survivors, recovering victims' remains, inspecting damaged buildings and critical infrastructure, and providing medical services to over 2,000 affected individuals. China also airlifted emergency supplies procured domestically, including 4,000 tents, 10,000 blankets, 55,000 first-aid kits, 40,000 mosquito nets, 18,000 waterproof tarps, 4,000 sleeping bags, 10,000 solar lamps, 2,000 cooking sets, 38,800 emergency hygiene kits, and 2,000 boxes of instant noodles, to address the urgent needs of disaster victims.
