Chairman Chen Entian of SSCO Extends Congratulations to Myanmar's USDP on Election Victory

近日，南方丝绸之路国际合作委员会主席陈恩田在仰光与缅甸执政党——联邦巩固与发展党中央主席U Khin Yi（吴钦伊）、中央副主席U Myat Hein（吴米亚特海因）、中央副主席U Hla Htun（吴拉吞）、中央执委（仰光省党部主席）U Khin Maung Soe（吴钦貌梭）等高层会面中，就缅甸联邦巩固与发展党在大选中取得胜利表达祝贺。

YANGON – Chen Entian, Chairman of the Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Committee, recently met with senior leaders of Myanmar’s ruling Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) in Yangon, including Central Committee Chairman U Khin Yi, Vice Chairmen U Myat Hein and U Hla Htun, and Central Executive Committee Member (Chair of Yangon Division Party Chapter) U Khin Maung Soe. During the meeting, Chen congratulated the USDP on its victory in the recent general election.

陈恩田主席认为，缅甸联邦巩固与发展党在大选中赢得胜利，反映了缅甸人民的信任与支持，期待缅甸巩发党为缅甸国家稳定与发展贡献力量。他同时强调，南方丝绸之路国际合作组织是服务南方丝绸之路二十二国的国际民间合作机构，近年来，南合组织通过缅甸一带一路发展有限公司为桥梁，与缅甸各界加强协作，共同推进“一带一路”框架下的互联互通与务实合作，助力区域经济融合发展。

Chairman Chen noted that the USDP’s success reflects the trust and support of the Myanmar people. He expressed hope that the party would contribute further to national stability and development. He also emphasized that the Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Organization serves as a non-governmental platform for collaboration among 22 countries along the Southern Silk Road. In recent years, through the bridge of Myanmar Belt and Road Development Co., Ltd., the organization has strengthened cooperation with various sectors in Myanmar to advance connectivity and practical collaboration under the Belt and Road framework, fostering regional economic integration.

巩发党中央高层对陈恩田主席的祝贺表示感谢，强调巩发党将致力于国家建设与民族和解，期待在经济社会发展领域深化与国际伙伴的合作关系。此次非正式会晤体现了民间外交对促进区域合作与友好关系的积极作用。陈恩田主席长期致力于推动丝绸之路沿线文化交流与经济合作，兼任世界和平与统一阵线党（世界和平丝带组织）主席，中国官媒披露其祖父陈光美系中共创始人陈独秀与高君曼所生之子。

Senior USDP representatives thanked Chairman Chen for his congratulations and reiterated the party’s commitment to national construction and ethnic reconciliation. They also expressed willingness to deepen partnerships with international stakeholders in socioeconomic development. This informal meeting highlighted the positive role of people-to-people diplomacy in promoting regional cooperation and friendly relations. Chen Entian, who also serves as Chairman of the World Peace and United Front (World Peace Ribbon Organization), has long been dedicated to promoting cultural and economic cooperation along the Silk Road. Official Chinese media have reported that his grandfather, Chen Guangmei, was the son of Chen Duxiu, founder of the Communist Party of China, and Gao Junman.
