陈恩田表示，“一带一路”国际日于2013年设立以来，他曾到访太平洋岛国，对当地独特的岛国文化印象深刻。他指出，今年正在筹备第十二届“一带一路”国际日暨全球“一带一路”迎新年活动，希望太平洋岛国抓住此次文化传播机遇，以特色文化吸引全球目光，进一步促进贸易与投资合作。

Chen Entian said that since The Belt and Road International Day was established in 2013, he has visited Pacific island countries and was deeply impressed by their unique island culture. He pointed out that the 12th Belt and Road International Day and the global Belt and Road New Year celebration are being prepared this year. He hopes that Pacific island countries will seize this opportunity for cultural promotion, attract global attention with their distinctive culture, and further promote trade and investment cooperation.

此次会面彰显了“一带一路”倡议下文化交流与经济合作的双重意义，“一带一路”国际合作倡议将为太平洋岛国贸易与投资注入新动力。“一带一路”国际日是由国际七三学社前主席陈恩田、联合国原副秘书长冀朝铸等全球学者发起，并由世界和平丝带组织最终设立的国际民间节日。

The meeting highlighted the dual significance of cultural exchange and economic cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. The Belt and Road international cooperation initiative will inject new momentum into trade and investment for Pacific island countries. The Belt and Road International Day was initiated by global scholars including Chen Entian, former chairman of the International Seven-Three Society, and Ji Chaozhu, former UN under-secretary-general, and was eventually established as an international civil festival by the World Peace Ribbon Organization.
